In the middle of last winter Martin Shaw braved a three-day storm to go pilgrimaging on the smallest of the Aran Islands Inis Oirr (Inner Seer). This exhibition, November 7th –27th, is a gathering of drawings, paintings and recordings responding to the adventure.
It opens on Thursday November 7th from 6pm at Field System Gallery in Ashburton, Devon, with a private view and a nip of poitín.
On Thursday 14th November A Night on the Island is an intimate evening of stories and conversations with Martin, who will unveil the encounters that inspired the work.
