Bowls of Barley, Honey and Wine: Dr Martin Shaw live at Yeats’s Tower

£10.00

Recorded live at W.B. Yeats’s Tower, Thoor Ballylee, Ireland

THE BIRTH OF OSSIAN

This telling is dedicated to the storyteller Robin Williamson. Though I’ve never heard him tell this particular tale, these opening descriptions of Finn and his men I first heard directly from his mouth, so I offer this tale to him and his genius.

TATTERHOOD

Tatterhood is a hugely powerful and inspiring fairy tale, with an enormous amount to disclose about the trouble of modern times. I dedicate this to the storyteller Hugh Lupton, and the bones of his blessing at the very end of the tale.
