Martin Shaw has exhibited in Italy, the UK and the United States. A scholar from the British School in Rome, he has painted for the last twenty years. Life Cycle, Shaw’s catalogue and conversation with Ai Wei Wei, is published by the Marciano Arts Foundation. His talk for Tate Modern exploring the link between artists and shamanic practices is available to view online: Art, Land and Shamanism, (Tate Modern Lates, 2023).
